Zone Turkey Chili
This is one of the easiest recipes to put together and gives you lots of leftovers for lunch or another dinner. The portion above about 3 blocks, but you can easily cut that in half and have this with a salad. To make this: brown 1 pound of ground turkey in a pot, add 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can pinto beans, 1 can kidney beans and chili seasoning. Simmer for about 45 minutes. This has little or no fat, so you will need to add fat to balance.

Hey Michele,
This looks so good! How do you portion it out to make the 3 blocks?
Thanks!
Neile
This was our dinner last night & it was a big hit. I made it with sweet italian chicken sausage instead of ground turkey (which I love but use it with so many other recipes).
So good & so easy. Thanks Michele.
Neile- When I make chili or soups I measure all the ingredients before I put them in the pot so I can have a total blocks for the pot. You can figure how many serving you have per pot from there.
Michele, thanks! I need to send you a copy of the calculations Miriam did to figure out portions. It's awesome and hilarious and really nerdy. That's what zoning with a scientist is. I'll send tomorrow. Thanks again for the recipe -- SOOO good.

I will anxiously await the magic formula!!!Thanks Neile and Miriam
