So... it's not truly Paleo. I think Eva said it was her "cheat" day. So, as far as cheating... it's still a healthier paleo-like cheat and a better option when we just need something sweet! It's still gluten free, and made with unprocessed sugar (good old TJ's again). We just aren't cavemen and have so many more temptations! Once you're dialed in to Paleo... one of the expert's, Cordain, recommends allowing yourself a "loose" meal... it's not quite a all-out cheat, but allows you to be less strict on certain meals. He recommends this 2-3 meals per week! It helps... especially with so many "questionable" paleo foods out there.

Whitney, thanks for your words! YOU my friend were just the best judge and cheerleader Saturday! Always smiling and so encouraging! You are the poster child :)

2nd, with Paleo, I am confused with the sugar thing, especially seeing the cookie post- Is a bit of natural sugar ok? Honey, agave, etc? or none is best, but?

Not that I like sugar, but there are some things like these yummy KIND bars I found that are pure nuts but have a hint of natural sugar. Is that ok?

PS- HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! hope you had some more wine after your weekend!Whitneyhttp://www.whitneyfusion.comnoreply@blogger.com
