I am changing the schedule of posts for this blog to Monday through Friday. I will be checking the blog on the weekends, I just will not be posting on the weekends.
Communicate about your diet! This is a Blog hosted by CrossFit Santa Cruz Central and moderated by Kelly Greco. It is for all athletes and anyone who wishes to post comments about their eating. It is intended to create accountability, support and motivation for those trying to stick to diets such as Paleo or other insulin controlling diets. It is a forum to post what you ate, didn't eat, want to eat, shouldn't have eaten, and to share recipes, ideas, and thoughts on eating. WELCOME!
Thanks Michele for all you do!!! Enjoy your weekends! You deserve it! I guess I can survive Fri-Mon without your meals. :)
Your site is great. Would you ever consider having co-authors post on the weekends? Or maybe re-post old posts over the weekend? Just a thought.
I tend to agree with mrjwhit. Co-authors could be great. More ideas and ingredients, and less time for one person to maintain.
But you've done a WONDERFUL job with this blog. It's one of 5 or so blogs that I check daily trying to garner new recipe ideas!
Thanks guys...I have actually tried the co-author thing and it has not worked out too well. I would love to get some recipes and photos from the Zoners that follow the blog and post those...(hint hint).
This is such a great resource and I'm grateful for your generosity. Take your weekends back. ;-)
Oh my.... I just was told " you should post that recipe on Michelle's Zone blog! Look's like good timing. Michelle I don't know if I would have the time to take a pic's but perhaps I could pass on some recipes and you could re create them and post? Just a thought. :) Let me know what ya think. By the way good for you for holding on to your weekend time!
By the way the recipe was: 1/2 cup grapes, 1/2 apple, 1/2 pear, chopped in small pieces, 3 oz chopped baked (or canned would work too )chicken pieces. Combine all above with a little veganaise/mayo and toss in a few walnut pieces, add salt and pepper to taste. Super easy, tasty 3 block chicken fruit salad. I eat this w celery sticks and bring to work, it could be served over lettuce/spinach. I used 1/4 c. fuyu persimmon the other day instead of the apple! AMAZING! (shhh...don't tell Annie)
Oh my, that chicken fruit salad sounds SO good!!! I cannot wait to make it. Yum Yum and thanks!
